    Y'all call the owner/server/cook rude but I call him PHOntastic! I've been to Vietnam and I went to the old Saigon on 10th. We are a military family that has traveled A LOT and we choose food quality over customer service.
    He was the first person to bring bahn mi to McAllen! Maybe even the Valley. If you want awesome flavorful food at reasonable prices then eat here! If you want to be pampered and charmed with customer service then go elsewhere or take your food to go. There are other Vietnamese places here now but this place is my #1 (I do frequent Pho Houston too).

    Love this place! Every time we go we order the #14 which is just Pho with beef flank and it's so AMZING. First time I went I was like what is this place? So plain and just the owner taking orders and charging but after having a bowl I was sold! Literally go once a week for my Pho fix.

    Their bahn mi and pho is so good! The man that takes your order at the counter is the owner and people that are complaining about him not going to their table and asking if they want a refill if their drink can easily get up and ask for a refill. He doesn't have staff working for him so it's just him and the person in the back cooking. He isn't rude he's just there to take your order, make your food and charge you. You want him to wipe your face for you? This isn't a place for you. Just enjoy you food and get your lazy butt up and ask for a refill of the drink you like so much you needed a second serving of it.

    If you can get by a serious faces server/owner you will be pleasantly surprised. The food is really delicious! It was quick service and anything that we asked for we were attended to. The food was so good!

    Very quiet due to only 4 customers.  The decor is simple.  Only one man present and talking to some people at the counter.

    We went ahead and sat ourselves.  The people left and he brought a couple of menus and took our order.  

    The food was plain and simple, and I enjoyed it.  My friend thought that there might be issues with the beef.  

    I really enjoyed the tea!  There was a hint of lavender or something. Forgot to ask!

    Will we be returning?  I would have no problem.
